Junior (2011-12):Did not compete due to injury.
Sophomore (2010-11): In her first year at USD, went 12-12 in singles playing primarily at No. 2 and 16-6 in doubles exclusively with Laura Claus... Selected to the All-WCC second team in singles and was honorable mention in doubles... Won five-consecutive singles matches between March 23rd and April 6th... Defeated Santa Clara's Kelly Lamble 6-2, 7-5 in the second round of the WCC Championships, helping USD to a second place finish in the event... In doubles, teamed with Claus to post a seven-match winning streak from March 8th to March 23rd... Defeated two ranked opponents in doubles on the year... Was named WCC Player of the Month for doubles with Claus for the month of February... Did not compete in the fall... Was named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll in the spring after earning a 3.07 GPA.
Freshman (2009-10):Did not compete.
High School: Ranked No. 7 in the Confederation of South American Tennis rankings, No. 200 in the ITF rankings, and No. 670 in the WTA rankings... Won a variety of WTA and ITF tournaments in singles and doubles... Competed in the Fed-Cup for Venezuela... Won three gold medals and one silver in the Centro American Championships in Puerto Rico in 2007.
Personal: Father worked at the Venezuelan Tennis Federation and she would go to work with him every day as she learned how to play... Has an older sister who manages a bank and a younger brother and sister who are attending school... Interested in Computer Science but is leaning toward majoring in Business Economics because it might offer more job opportunities... Enjoys spending time with her family and friends and working hard in school... Also likes to sing as a hobby... Started playing tennis at age five... Aspires to earn a Top-50 WTA ranking in her tennis career.
