SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference released its annual All-WCC Women's Tennis team and the Toreros were honored with a medley of awards. Freshman Laura Claus was named to the Singles Second Team while sophomore Marite Raygada received Honorable Mention for singles. The tandem pairings of sophomores Juliette Coupez and Maja Sujica were selected to the Doubles Second Team and Claus along with senior doubles specialist Justine Perl were acknowledged for their efforts with Honorable Mention.

Claus (Wiesbaden, Germany) owned a 13-11 record exclusively at the No. 2 position. She helped the Toreros to a third place finish at the WCC Championships by capturing wins over Gonzaga (Kristina Zauere; 6-4, 6-0) and Santa Clara (Kelly Lamble; 6-1, 6-3). Claus and Perl were the winningest doubles pair on the Torero squad with a mark of 12-4 at the No. 3 slot.

Raygada (Lima, Peru) topped the singles leader board in 2010, notching an impressive 19-4 singles record (1-0 at #5 spot; 18-4 at #6 spot). She received the Player of the Month honor for March, after going a perfect 8-0 and simultaneously closing out the campaign on a 14-0 run.

The No. 1 doubles Torero tandem of Coupez and Sujica went 11-7 for the dual campaign, helping San Diego to an dual record of 13-12 and a final ITA ranking of 70th.
