SOPHOMORE (2011): Played and started in all 33 matches...was named first-team All-WCC...took home AVCA Honorable Mention All-American Honors...led the team with 355 kills, while hitting for a .385 clip...led the team with 109 blocks, 24 of which were solo...managed to recorded double-digit kills in 17 matches...recorded a career-high 21 kills in a win against Gonzaga (11/3/11)...recorded 18 kills to lead USD to victory over Long Beach State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament (12/2/11)...recorded 17 kills in a win over Loyola Marymount (10/15/11)...recorded 17 kills against San Francisco (10/29/11)...hit for an impressive .609 clip in the season opening win over Long Island (8/26/11)...hit over .500 in nine matches...managed to record 12 kills, while hitting for a .733 clip, tying her for fourth at USD in single-match hitting percentage, in a sweep over UC Irvine (9/29/11)... helped lead the team to the second round of the NCAA Tournament... helped lead the team to the best overall record in program history at 28-5.
FRESHMAN (2010): Played in all 30 matches during the season at middle hitter...posted 299 kills, which was third on the team, and hit a team and USD single-season record of .403...named the WCC Freshman of the Year...named first-team All-WCC and to the All-WCC Freshman team... helped lead the team to the 2010 WCC Championship...named West Coast Conference Player of the Week (11/22/10)...set a new USD single-season hitting percentage record...ranked eighth in the NCAA in hitting percentage...had 10 matches where she hit .500 or better during the regular season, with a season-high of .714 with 10 kills on 14 attempts...posted a season-high 20 kills against Gonzaga (10/30/10)...led the Toreros with 69 blocks and added21 digs...had a season-high five blocks against Pepperdine (11/18/10).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played volleyball at Buchanan High School...as a senior, she was ranked the 54th player in the nation, after recording 354 kills, 184 digs, and 68 blocks en route to a second-team Under Armor All-American selection and a first-team All- Tri-River Athletic Conference...as a junior, she was named first-team All- Tri-River Athletic Conference, and first-team All-Valley after recording 216 kills, 96 blocks, and 144 digs...she took home second-team All- Tri-River Athletic Conference honors as a sophomore.
PERSONAL: Chloe Raquel Ferrari was born on July 21, 1992 in Fresno, Calif....she is the daughter of Melissa Mckenzie and Todd Ferrari...was also recruited by Duke, Miami and Pepperdine...chose to attend USD because it is close to her home, has a great volleyball program and because of the great academic opportunities the school has to offer.
