Missy Ross will begin her second season as an assistant coach with the Toreros in 2006.
Ross, a record setting player and team captain at the University of Texas, enjoyed an extensive professional career, including playing experience on the AVP Pro Beach Tour, Women's Professional Volleyball Association (WPVA) and with Beach Volleyball America (BVA).
She remains one of the most accomplished setters in Longhorn history, claiming a number of Texas all-time records, including ranking third all-time in assists, 10th all-time in career digs. As a two-time team captain at UT, Ross led the longhorns to consecutive NCAA National Semi-final appearances in 1990 and 1991, while also being part of the Longhorns NCAA Championship team of 1988.
Ross earned her B.A. in Psychology Texas in 1992.
